| 5 Jun 2009 | A. Setliffe | Loading...Yeek! David Michael replies: "I hope they can come to a peaceful understanding with the management before any...pillaging...takes place." | |
| 10 Jun 2009 | A. Setliffe | Loading...Thankfully mine are more on the fierce defenders side of things than the pillaging side. Ah, well that’s certainly good.*sighs* I love cats, but they are trouble sometimes. David Michael replies: "As to that, I can only concur from experience and offer this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0ffwDYo00Q" | |
| 14 Jun 2009 | A. Setliffe | Loading...Yo, I found some of the unicorn pictures I wanted to show you... well, some are pegasi, but ah well. http://www.elfwood.com/~mist/Wildcloud.3047637.html http://www.elfwood.com/~mist/Red.3047625.html http://www.elfwood.com/~mist/Pintopeg.3047622.html http://www.elfwood.com/~mist/Idrial_Stormcloud.3047607.html This lady creates some truly lovely equine creatures. David Michael replies: "Neato! I think I’ve run across her page before, and yeah, those are pretty indeed. Thanks for sharing." | |
| 15 Jun 2009 | A. Setliffe | Loading...Indeed. XD that is one of my favorite cat videos. It’s my Asher to a T... ^_^ David Michael replies: "I just discovered it recently, though apparently it’s an old BBC classic. Brilliant, at any rate. Oh, and allow me at least another day or so before I reply to your other (excellent) comments. Busy life stuff, etc." | |
| 20 Jun 2009 | A. Setliffe | Loading...Really? Somehow that just makes it better. ^_^ Have you seen the others? I wish there were more! Fan-diddly-tastic. And enough like my cats as well, though they were outside critters. My rambly ramble? Don’t worry. Life is important ^_~ David Michael replies: "Yes, helping grandmother’s is important, as is Father’s Day. I’ll try for Monday, perhaps?
Ooo and see! Elfwood finally let me 2 short pieces go through, although they placed both in the "Other Works" tab. One is definitely non-genre, but I sure thought the other had a fantasy element in the narrator... Oh well, no matter! *shrug*"
| 22 Jun 2009 | A. Setliffe | Loading...Color is gone! NOOOOOOO! ...ahem... yeah... even if you did reply to the ramble of rambliness, I probably wouldn’t be able to effectively sort out what you say as opposed to what I said (being half brain-dead and unable to remember well and all that) until the color returns. ...le sigh... I had a rather humorous moment this morning (pre-coffee) of thinking ’fan-diddly-tastic’ was something I typed, which was perplexing as that isn’t usually in my vocabulary ^_~ When I realized that was you I had a right old laugh at myself. I’ve seen some of the others, but I don’t know how many there are. Hehe, that is amusing. Well, at least it’s back now! I’m afraid there are still many glitches to be worked out in the next months. *sigh**nods* helping grandmothers is very important. I would help mine, if only they were still living. I have a grandfather who’s 96, and my last surviving grandparent. He’s wonderful. Father’s day was rather stressful, but I got to cook for my pa, which I do too rarely, and that was nice. Ah well indeed. I may poke around on your shelf again soon. My clay class starts tomorrow, which means I will get to start making masks again. Yayness! *is very excited* David Michael replies: "Have fun with the class! Making masks does sound fun indeed. Sorry I still haven’t got to them...somewhat busyness somewhat forgetfulness. It’ll happen soon though!" | |
| 23 Jun 2009 | A. Setliffe | Loading...whew. color is back. ^_^ David Michael replies: "Sheesh, they shouldn’t scare us like that!" | |
| 24 Jun 2009 | Anna Liliya | Loading...oh dear. I can already see that you are going to be horrible for my sleep schedule (even if it is finally summer). I just can’t seem to tear myself away from your delightfully visual and engaging writing! I am so wrapped up in your many characters, it’s almost frustrating--but for no fault of yours (unless you count being too addictive to your readers a fault). No,...I find this becoming frustrating because I can’t seem to keep my eyes open!! and yet, I long so badly to continue reading. alas, I suppose I shall save some to look forward to tomorrow--particularly your private detective excerpt. You REALLY piqued my curiousity/interest with that one. I may love fantasy, but I think, deep down, I’m just an adventure/mystery kind of girl--so I am very eager to read your take on such a genre. (my imagination has gone in a sherlock holmes direction--judging from your style and interests, but I shall just have to see ...) well, again, as always, kind sir: thank you for such incredible tales. I apologize that I cannot stay awake longer to finish them--but hark: the morning brings a new dawn and sunshine to all of our eyes, and with it a new chance to embark on these journeys of discover. take care, oh faithful knight of silver-tongued pen. I hope I catch up to you soon in your trails across the lands and fields of fantasy. mit die geheim Verbindungen und ein tiefer betrübt Seufzer, Ich abgereist Sie für heute Nacht David Michael replies: "Haha, well ’tis my pleasure, kind lady, to share the joy I get from my characters and stories. I hope the rest of my works here delight you just as much as those you’ve read already. They vary rather greatly in tone and content, and should appeal to a wide variety of preferences. If you want, you could also be the first to comment on my two non-fantasy pieces on the "Other Works" tab. ’-)" | |
| 26 Jun 2009 | A. Setliffe | Loading...aye, no doubt. I still have some old scars from years past that twinge when the weather threatens.
I did! and I look forward to next week’s class. Masks are intriguing things. I made my first in the summer before my senior year of college and I haven’t been able to stop since. I make them as faces of their own, though, not masks to hide true faces. Something about the masks people wear in real life bothers me deeply, and I think my mask-making may be a way for me to process such dichotomies. I make faces.
I am gone to visit my bro and his beloved this weekend, so I will be silent ’till Monday night most likely.
Ah! You have a fan! *grins* Anna, put on a safety harness before embarking on Jesse Berlin’s snippet. It’s a ride. ^_~
